Driver ASICs
poLight offers two driver ASICs as a TLens® enabling platform, simplifying customer integration, improving performance, and accelerating commercialization. These ASICs are designed to drive capacitive loads including the autofocus actuators. Dedicated driver ASICs enable plug-and-play integration as well as generating precise waveforms while delivering consistent optical performance across devices.
PD50 Driver ASIC
PD50 has a 10-bit DAC and is capable of 50 V output voltage. It uses an I2C interface operating at up to 400 KHz. The power-on reset circuit guarantees 0 V output voltage at start-up. It has a power-down feature that reduces current consumption in standby to below 5 uA.

PD50LE Driver ASIC
The PD50LE is a low-emission variant of the PD50 driver IC with a slightly lower voltage range. Is has been specifically designed for mobile and wearable applications requiring high integration density, low electromagnetic emissions, and operation with minimal EMI impact on surrounding circuitry.
